A registration fee in the amount of $100.00 is due at the time of enrollment.
In accordance with your Enrollment Agreement, weekly tuition must be paid by closing time on the first day of attendance each week or a late fee will be charged. A fee also applies if you pick up your child after closing time. Enrollment will be discontinued if tuition payment is not received. Building Blocks accepts payment via the following methods: cash, check or credit card.
Checks will clear your account one to four banking days after the date processed. We also accept money orders and cashier’s checks. A $25.00 fee will be charged for returned checks. We reserve the right to refuse any subsequent payment by check. For your convenience, you may also pay with a credit card at the Center; however, there will be a 5% processing fee added for this service.

To maintain our high standard of quality, we budget for 52 weeks worth of expenses related to our teachers and educational resources. If you enroll your child on a full-time basis, to cover these costs, we charge a full week’s tuition if your child attends the Center for any portion of the week. A week is defined as five consecutive days, Monday through Friday. However, after six consecutive months of enrollment, each child will accrue five days of vacation; after one year of consecutive enrollment, each child will accrue ten days of vacation; and every year thereafter, each child will continue to accrue ten days of vacation.

A quarterly supply and activity fee covers the costs of our learning programs and educational supplies.

Building Blocks is open year around Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.
If your school-age child does not attend school due to a holiday, teacher in-service day, or for any other reason, an additional fee will be charged for staying the entire day at the Center.
Building Blocks is closed on the following holidays:
New Year’s Day Memorial Day Independence Day (July 4th)
Labor Day Thanksgiving Day Christmas Day
Building Blocks will close early on the following days:
New Year’s Eve Christmas Eve
Building Blocks’ policy is to accept children in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), its regulations, and any other applicable local, state, or federal laws pertaining to the provision of services to those with disabilities. We review each child’s situation on a case-by-case basis. Please discuss your child’s needs with the Center Director prior to enrollment.
If your child is in special education at a public school, Building Blocks will require a copy of his or her Individual Education Plan (IEP) or similar document for inclusion in the child’s file. Having this plan will allow our teachers to provide the best possible care for your child.
Because we provide childcare and education in a group setting, we must be concerned for the welfare and safety of all of our children and staff. When a particular child’s or parent’s behavior threatens the safety of other children or becomes abusive toward other children in the Center, we reserve the right to indefinitely remove the child from the Center.
Should you find yourself in the position of having to remove your child due to behavioral issues, Building Blocks will allow your child to remain at the facility for up to two weeks while you make other arrangements for child care. Certain instances may require an immediate withdrawal.
