Management Team

Walter graduated from Baylor University in 1990 with a BBA in Marketing. He worked as a controller, chief financial officer, and as a tax and financial advisor in different capacities for 15 years. In 2006, he earned his MBA in Accounting from Keller Graduate School of Management. In 2005, Walter founded Building Blocks Child Development Center, Inc. because he saw a growing need for high quality child care at an affordable price. Walter’s current responsibilities include managing the growth and development of the corporation, along with providing all of the necessary financial reporting.

Dana attended the University of Texas at Arlington, majoring in business. She continued her education and graduated from Arlington Court Reporting College in 1985. Dana worked as a Licensed Court Reporter for several years before she became a teacher. She taught court reporting for 12 years and served as the Faculty Director for Iverson Court Reporting College for 2 of those years. In 2006, Dana became the Director of Operations for Building Blocks Child Development Center, Inc. In that capacity, she developed the daily operations of the child care centers along with the curriculum used by the teachers. Dana spends her days visiting the various facilities to train the staff and to ensure that the policies and procedures are being followed.
